About Me

Professional

Not too long ago, I graduated from university with a master's degree in applied economics. My main interests were reflected in my choice of a major in data science and a minor in finance. The topic of my final dissertation centered around a network analysis applied to international energy trade.

I am particularly interested in the intersection of programming and financial risk management, which led me to focus on learning programming languages such as Python and R during my studies.

For my dissertation, I used LaTeX to organize and format my text. R-programming also played a significant role in my final dissertation, enabling the construction of a network on international trade data and conducting analysis on it.

At the present time I am pursuing a career in finance as a Risk Manager at KBC. In the near future I seek to acquire the GARP-certification for financial risk management. In doing so, I hope to further develop my skills in the field of finance.
